Do you have a catalogue that you can send me?

In order to keep prices low and due to the fast pace at which the range is expanding I do not have a catalogue. All products are listed on the website or can be made to order.

I just placed an order, when will it arrive?

All items ordered from the website will be dispatched within 24 hours of payment being received. During busy times there may be a short delay in dispatching your items but I will inform you of this when you order.

Items that are made to order can take up to a week to make and dispatch. I will e-mail when I send the items.

Do you have a phone number?

To keep the costs down (and prices low) I primarily use e-mail to communicate. I check my e-mails regularly, and normally respond on the same business day.  However for urgent enquires I can be contacted on 07917 469139.

What is your Returns Policy?

If you have a faulty item then you can return it to me for a full refund or exchange. If the item is ok but you are not happy with it then, again, you can return it to me for a refund or exchange.

Note: For health reasons I cannot accept earrings back unless they are faulty.

Is your website secure? Will my credit card details be safe?

Bec’s Beadwork does not store or hold any credit card details to process your order. I prefer to accept payment through Paypal which is an encrypted and secure website, I therefore don’t have access to your card details. I also accept payment by personal cheque.

I want to buy a lot, can I have a discount?

I am unable to offer discounting as I aim to keep my individual prices as low as possible. See the special offer section for the latest discounts

Are your pictures just for illustration or are they the real thing?

All of the jewellery is handmade. As such each item will vary slightly in size and colour. No two beads will ever be exactly the same size due to the handmade nature of glass beads.  You can expect some slight variation in the colour, size and shape of them. The pictures on the website should only be used as a guide.

Your prices are very competitive, how does this reflect on the quality?

I import a lot of the beads direct from Indonesia therefore cutting out the middlemen so this enables me to sell the jewellery at such good prices.  . I carefully select and inspect the beads and ensure that they are of excellent quality before I use them to make the jewellery.

How much is postage & packing?

The cost of postage and packing is £2 per item. 

I only charge a minimal amount for packaging and aim to use recyled packaging where possible. 

Items are sent by first class delivery.  I am unable to take responsibility for loss or damage once orders have entered the postal system. I always obtain a certificate of posting which I can send to you if you encounter a problem (you can then use this to claim any compensation from the post office up to £34). If your item(s) are of a higher value I can send them by Recorded or Special Delivery at your request, please email me and I will confirm the extra posting costs to you.

International buyers should contact me before ordering so that I can discuss p&p costs.

I can also supply gift boxes for an extra £1, please contact me if you require this option.

Q. How do I pay for my items?

Payment should be quick and easy via Paypal's secure server, you do not need a Paypal account and it is free. You will be given a choice of payment by credit/debit card or by using your own Paypal account. I do not have any access to your card details. Prices are in Sterling and if you are not a UK customer your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. I also accept personal cheques and postal orders from UK customers although items will not be despatched until the payment has been received. Please email me if you want to pay by cheque or postal orde so that I can reserve the item for you. If payment is not received within 10 days I will relist the item.
